There will be tributes to Adam Johnson ahead of all games taking place in the Elite League this weekend. The head coaches of both teams will jointly lay a wreath on the ice ahead of the opening faceoff. After a video celebrating Adam's life is played in areas with video walls, everyone in attendance will be invited to observe a minute's silence in memory of Adam, followed by a minute's applause.

We would also like to actively encourage further fan-led tributes before, during or after the game. It has been a very sad and difficult week for many people in both our and the wider ice hockey community, and we hope that fans from across the league will feel able to come together this weekend and remember Adam.

Many of us are still coming to terms with the tragic events of last weekend, and may find today's tributes very moving. Please continue to support each other as you have done so wonderfully over the past week.

Flames completed a full haul 4 point weekend on Sunday night thanks to a 5-2 home ice win over Fife Flyers.
 

Just 93 seconds in, Peter Crinella staked Flames to a lead.  As the period progressed to the midway point, the Flyers levelled through Aleksi Makela.  Crinella looked like he had an immediate reply with his 2^nd of the evening. Video review based on goaltender interference erased that one to keep it at a goal each, but Austin Glover’s 1^st with his new team at 15:05 had the home team in front at the break, and the difference was still on the board by the time 40 minutes had timed out.
 

In the 3^rd, Flames extended with Crinella’s 2^nd of the contest, this one in no doubt, at 44:11. Reece Harsch pulled Fife within a single at 51:26, but a Bradley Lalonde answer exactly a minute later, then a late empty netter by Owen Griffiths sealed up the win. 
 

Eamon McAdam recorded the win with 31 saves on 33 shots while Shane Owen turned aside 26 of 30. 
 

“It’s exciting to get a full weekend point grab, but more important was probably just winning at home which we have struggled with to start the season,” admitted Paul Dixon.
 

“We are not going to be throwing a parade for the weekend results, but there is no question that it is a big relief to put together back to back games which obviously is points capture, but offers crucial confidence which was hard to come by in recent weeks.”
 

“We will get back to training this week and try to improve ourselves a bit more and hopefully this can be a bit of a turning point to help us be more successful, more often.”
