David is a graduate of the Guildford Jr. system. Despite his relative youth, this season is his 6th on the full time senior roster. In addition to his defensive duty, David chipped in at the other end of the ice with 9 goals and 31 points during the league and cup win. He spent his first full time stint with Spectrum’s team in 2007-2008, and has iced his entire junior and senior career at the Surrey base. His first taste of the senior circuit occurred back in 2004-2005 while still enrolled in the development side with whom he helped claim back to back national under 19 titles. This season, 4 games in, David will become the youngest player ever, and only the 8th in club history, to make 400 starts with the team. During his first 396 outings he has shown an offensive flare not always consistent with his position while scoring 85 goals, 28 on the powerplay and 5 of them game winners, to go with 120 assists. Last season’s ‘double’ added to a trophy input that already included another pair of league titles, two Premier Cup championships, and the 2011 playoff crown. In addition to domestic service, David also boasts Jr international exposure as a key member of the junior British national side at under 16, 18 and 20 levels; helping team GB to a world championship under 20 Bronze medal in December 2006.
