James helped backstop the Swindon Wildcats to a 7th place playoff position last season, an improvement of a single table spot over the year prior. He played 36 times, finishing with a 4.14 goals against average and an 89 save percentage. He was the goaltender of record in both playoff quarter final games against Spectrum’s team last spring. The Sheffield native opened his senior account with the English Premier League Scimitars in 2009-2010, and iced a pair of games at the Under 18 world junior championships that same season.
